CS 331: COMPUTER ARCHITECHTURE
- Position: Lecturer - Academic Year
- Semester: Fall 2026

Computer Architecture at CSUSM's Temecula Campus.
Course Description
A study of the functional organization and sequential operation of digital computers. The major components of a computer will be discussed. Introduction to machine instruction architecture and design. The study of the internal operations during program execution. Several computer architectures will be studied.
Minimum qualifications:
- A master's degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
- Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service.
- A doctorate or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Experience teaching similar courses in 4-year universities
- Anticipated Hiring Salary: $2,279 per Weighted Teaching Unit (WTU)
- CSU Classification Salary: $2,279 per Weighted Teaching Unit (WTU)
