Appointment may last from one day to an entire semester and can be used to fill vacant positions as needed throughout the academic year.
Applicants in this pool are accepted on an on‑going basis. Applications are valid only for the current academic year; the pool will be closed effective May 31, 2026. To be considered for the next academic year, applicants must apply to the new pool by June 15.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in Psychology or a relevant field.
- Successful experience teaching at the college level.
- California residency required under the CSU Out‑of‑State Employment Policy.
- Doctorate in Psychology or a relevant field.
- Higher education experience teaching a particular class.
- Research experience relevant to the specific course content.
- Intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and, as applicable, service.
- Salary commensurate with degree level and experience.
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 – $8,000 per full‑time month.
- CSU Classification Salary Range – Lecturer A (AY): $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month.
- CSU Classification Salary Range – Lecturer B (AY): $6,221 – $13,224 per full‑time month.
- Range generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate classification based on education and experience.
