College Lecturer
The Department of Kinesiology at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for its pool of part‑time lecturers. This applicant pool fills short‑term, temporary Lecturer positions across campus, from a single day to a full semester, and remains open until the current academic year ends. Applicants are now ineligible after May 31, 2026; a new pool will open on June 15, 2026.
Minimum Qualifications- A master’s degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Employment must occur in the State of California; the CSU prohibits out‑of‑state hiring.
- A doctorate or terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Higher‑education teaching experience in the field.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and service.
Anticipated hiring salary ranges for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification are:
Lecturer A – $5,507 to $6,677 per full‑time month;
Lecturer B – $6,221 to $13,224 per full‑time month. The hiring range is usually near the minimum of the appropriate classification range and is commensurate with education and experience.
