A study of the functional organization and sequential operation of digital computers. The major components of a computer will be discussed. Introduction to machine instruction architecture and design. The study of the internal operations during program execution. Several computer architectures will be studied.
Qualifications- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community.
- Applicants are required to be residents of California as a condition of employment.
- Doctorate or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience teaching similar courses in 4‑year universities.
- Salary is commensurate with degree level and experience.
- Anticipated Hiring Salary: $2,279 per Weighted Teaching Unit (WTU).
- CSU Classification Salary: $2,279 per Weighted Teaching Unit (WTU).
