Addresses generalist social work practice with diverse individuals within a person‑in‑environment perspective. Emphasizes core social work knowledge, values, and skills within the context of evidence‑informed engagement, assessment, intervention, and evaluation.

Teach the 3‑unit MSW 510 course, deliver 3‑hour weekly sessions in a hybrid format, develop course materials, assess and evaluate student learning, and participate in faculty meetings and departmental activities as required.

• A Master of Social Work degree
• Five (5) years of post‑MSW experience
• Five (5) years of full‑time practice experience working with individuals in direct practice settings
• LCSW licensure
• Residency in California (required by CSU Out‑of‑State Employment Policy)

• Doctoral degree in Social Work or a closely related field
• Teaching experience and demonstrated instructional methodology
• Intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community

Commensurate with degree level and experience.

• Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month (Lecturer A classification)
