The Department of Kinesiology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part‑time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach KINE 181 and 181L:
Human Anatomy and Physiology.
Investigates the structure and function of the human body. Introduces conceptual frameworks that can explain anatomical structures and model physiological processes, including energy transformation, gradients and flow, mechanical and evolutionary constraints, and control principles. Follows energy flow into the body: digestion and urination, circulation, respiration, and metabolism. Introduces ways to evaluate variability, pathology, and performance. Three hours of lecture; 3 WTU.
Three hours of laboratory; 2 WTU.
- A master’s degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Compliance with California State University’s Out‑of‑State Employment Policy; employment must be in California.
- A doctorate or terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Higher education teaching experience in the area.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community.
Salary commensurate with degree level and experience. Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month.
