Associate Director, Clinical Education – Hybrid Immersion Program

• The Associate Director of Clinical Education (ADCE) is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the clinical education portion of the DPT curriculum.
• Prepares and delivers course instruction as assigned.
• Advises entry-level students with academic and/or professional and personal issues.
• Sets scholarship plan and implements plan as prescribed by accreditation standards.
• Serves on programmatic and university committees as assigned.
• Communicates with all concerned stakeholders to maintain current knowledge of the educational program, the clinical education sites, and health care changes affecting clinical practice and education.
• Analyzes the clinical education and doctoral experiential component/residency program academic outcomes for compliance to accreditation standards.

• Post-professional doctoral degree required. Candidates currently enrolled in a post-professional doctorate program will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as SCCE or CI in Physical Therapy or a minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and administration in a Physical Therapy program.
• Experience with distance learning preferred.
• Experience in scholarly activity preferred.

Demonstrates expertise in coordinating clinical education within a DPT curriculum, with a strong focus on compliance with accreditation standards and effective communication with stakeholders. Possesses a solid background in clinical practice and teaching, along with experience in curriculum development and scholarly activity.
