The Department of Management at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for part‑time lecturer positions. Applicant pools are used to fill short‑term temporary lecturer positions onsite with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a semester. The applicant pool is open for the current academic year and will close effective May 31, 2027.
If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you must apply to the new pool when it becomes available by June 15.
- Master’s degree in business or a related discipline.
- Industry experience in a finance‑related position.
- Compliance with the California State University Out‑of‑State Employment Policy: employment is limited to California.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and, where applicable, service.
Salary is commensurate with degree level and experience.
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month (Lecturer A – AY).
