Finance Pool

The Department of Finance at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part‑time lecturers. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester and are used to fill short‑term temporary lecturer positions across the campus. The applicant pool is open for the current academic year and will close on May 31. Application for the following year must be submitted by June 15.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in business or a related discipline
  • Industry experience in a finance‑related position
  • Employment in California is required under the CSU Out‑of‑State Employment Policy
Preferred Qualifications
  • A doctorate degree or equivalent
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community
Salary
  • Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507–$6,677 per full‑time month (commensurate with degree level and experience)
