Applicant pools are used to fill short‑term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a full semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as‑needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st, 2027.
If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th, 2027.
- A master’s degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Must comply with the CSU Out‑of‑State Employment Policy – working in California is a condition of employment.
- A terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community.
- Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $6,359 per full‑time month.
- CSU Classification Salary Range – Lecturer A (AY): $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month.
