Course Description

Presentation and description of data, contingency table construction and interpretation, introduction to multivariate analysis, correlation and hypothesis testing.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
  • Work in the State of California is a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A doctorate or terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
  • Higher education experience teaching Sociology and/or Criminology & Justice Studies.
  • Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community.
Salary

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 – $8,000 per full‑time month. Salary commensurate with credentials and experience. Lecturer A – AY: $5,507 – $6,677;
Lecturer B – AY: $6,221 – $13,224 per full‑time month.
