Lecture:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.;
Lab:
Fridays, 11:30 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.
An overview of the principles of electricity and magnetism, light and optics, and modern physics. Topics include electric charge, electric fields, electric potential, DC circuits, magnetism, magnetic fields, geometric and physical optics, and atomic and nuclear physics.
Minimum Qualifications- A master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Physics and related fields.
- A doctorate or equivalent in Physics and related fields.
- Experience teaching similar courses at a four‑year university.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community.
Anticipated hiring ranges are commensurate with degree level and experience:
- Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,008 per full‑time month.
- Lecturer B: $6,221 – $7,045 per full‑time month.
- Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month.
- Lecturer B: $6,221 – $13,224 per full‑time month.
