Position
: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - Dept 19

Location:
San Marcos - At this time, we are only considering local candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Schedule
: MON-FRI: 9:00pm to 5:30am/FINISH, Occasional Weekends and Some Overtime

Wage: $70,0000-$119,000 annually, DOE

Qualifications being sought include:

• Plan, organize, and oversee production operations to meet schedules, optimize labor and equipment utilization, achieve efficiency goals, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and monitor production personnel, ensuring productivity, quality, and timely completion of customer orders.
• Communicate production status, schedule changes, and operational issues to management and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with product quality standards, food safety requirements, GMPs, and company policies; address quality concerns through training and corrective actions.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA, FDA, EPA, SQF, PMO, and other regulatory requirements.
• Train, develop, motivate, and discipline employees as needed in partnership with Human Resources.
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and production priorities to maximize efficiency and meet daily production goals.
• Monitor production documentation, inventory levels, and production logs to support operational planning and reporting.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment issues, preventive maintenance, and process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized production environment and ensure proper product coding, housekeeping, and sanitation standards.
• Analyze and resolve operational challenges, recommend process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prompt and regular attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Forklift Certification (Operator and Trainer), Pallet Jack Certification (Operator and Trainer),Ability to listen, teach, coach and train employees.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions and; moving mechanical parts.
