About This Role

The Sp Unit Staff RN in the Operating Room at Kaiser Permanente provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards. • Pay: $58 - $80/hour
• Location: San Marcos, CA
• Facility: San Marcos Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document nursing processes accurately and legibly.
• Discuss patient findings with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Organize work to minimize the use of overtime.
• Take call within a 30-minute response time as required.

Education:

• N/A

Experience:

• 1-year recent experience in an acute hospital Operating Room or Surgicenter.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support certification required
