Accounting Assistant

Priority Personnel is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a company located in San Marcos, TX.

Pay rate: $22-26/hour

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday/7:30am-4:00pm

Job Duties:

• Assist with cash receipt deposits, process payments from customers, maintain appropriate record- keeping of customer/accounts receivable and maintain a professional rapport with customers on behalf of the corporation.
• Supervise company deposits held with customers, record keeping, tracking timetables, and keeping management aware of changes and/or deadlines.
• Review and process invoices for customers as paperwork is turned in by sales department.
• Facilitate bookkeeping by providing reconciled accounts receivable journals and cash deposits held for customers, aging, and projections.
• Process payments of vendor accounts, maintain appropriate record-keeping of vendor accounts with our records and maintain a professional rapport with vendors on behalf of the corporation.
• Maintain equipment leases and service contracts with vendors, including vendor inquiry responses, record keeping, tracking timetables, and keeping management informed of changes and/ or deadlines.
• Facilitates the processing of rep commission including inquiry responses, record-keeping.
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare bank deposits
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in related field with work experience.
• Basic computer and office equipment skills needed. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
