Required Qualifications:
Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. Minimum 2 years of experience Knowledge and understanding of technical, performance, production and venue requirements of theater, dance, and music. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills Supervisory experience in theatrical production and ability to manage crews Experience with theatrical lighting and audio
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate professional experience in technical/production management and theatrical technology Maintenance and repair of lighting fixtures including conventional, automated lighting, and LED lighting equipment. Experience as a Head Electrician, Lighting Supervisor or similar position. Working knowledge of Theatrical Audio Systems – (QLab) Working knowledge of Projection Systems Working knowledge of Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD. Experience with (or ability to learn) Live Streaming Systems
Job Description
- Responsible for managing the internal operations of Evans Auditorium and supervising events.
Job Duties
- Responsible for managing the internal operations of Evans Auditorium and the Music Recital Hall and supervising events. Scheduling of events including calendar management. Coordinate with event sponsors regarding technical requirements, production meetings, and scheduling. Supervise events including stage supervision, production staffing, and technical support. Maintain and repair facility and equipment. Provide lighting design for events including shows for the Music Department, Dance, and Opera.
Provide audio engineering. Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, and supervise student workers. Perform other duties as assigned.
