Job Description
A Project Manager Assistant Level 2 provides intermediate support to project managers, assisting with administrative and coordination tasks, and managing smaller project components with oversight.
Responsibilities- Administrative Support
- Schedule and prepare for meetings, manage mid-level communication, and maintain organized project files.
- Project Coordination
- Support PMs by coordinating specific project segments, assisting with budgeting, and performing initial takeoffs under guidance.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Assist in generating project status reports, maintain logs, and support tracking of project progress.
- General Support
- Support the project team and complete tasks assigned by higher-level PMAs or project managers. Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment and act as a resource for PMA Level 1.
- Additional Duties
- Flexibility to perform other assigned tasks to support the overall business objectives, while proactively seeking opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or related roles required.
- Competency with project management software and Microsoft Office required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving required.
- Must meet company, client, and/or regulatory compliance requirements, which may include a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), criminal background check, drug screening, or other screenings, depending on job duties or site access requirements required.
- Experience in project estimating and familiarity with quoting and takeoff processes is highly desirable.
- Experience working on projects that involve cross‑functional teams preferred.
- Familiarity with the use of specialized project management or estimating software preferred.
- Staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.
- Perform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.
- Communicate verbally and in writing.
