San Marcos Dental and Braces is seeking a Tier II RDA who is ready to take ownership of the operatory, support comprehensive patient care, and contribute their experience to a strong clinical team. This is a hands-on role for an RDA who can move comfortably between chairside assisting, treatment preparation, lab coordination, clinical documentation, and supporting newer assistants.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, more than 30 hours per week. Flexible scheduling based on your availability. Monday through Saturday, with Saturday availability required.

In this role, you will:

• Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Prepare operatories, instruments, materials, and treatment trays
• Assist with temporary crowns and bridges, crown deliveries, night guards, bleaching, and suture removals
• Take diagnostic X-rays and maintain complete, accurate patient records
• Complete treatment documentation, lab scripts, and case tracking
• Reinforce treatment recommendations and help patients understand their care
• Support appointment scheduling, re-care coordination, and daily clinical workflow
• Maintain equipment, inventory, sterilization, and emergency supplies
• Assist with end-of-day procedures and clinical checklists
• Help train and support newer dental assistants

What you bring:

• Current Texas RDA certification
• Current BLS certification
• Two to five years of dental assisting experience
• Experience creating temporary crowns and bridges
• Strong chairside skills and knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
• Excellent clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred
• Experience with orthodontics, Invisalign, dental implants, or iTero scanners is a plus.
