Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, education, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to present information effectively in individual, small-, and large-group settings.
  • Knowledge and experience in academic advising, student success coaching, and assisting students with campus systems and processes.
  • Experience designing and implementing academic curriculum or programming to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, and database entry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and maintain excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with grant administration, monitoring objectives and outcomes, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in early childhood education, education, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited college/university.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in college educational setting, counseling, or academic advising related field.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or other bi/multilingual background in both written and verbal skills.
  • TXST website and/or social media management.
  • Experience with micro credentialing.
  • Job Description

    Reports to the Director of the CCAMPIS Program.

    The Grant Coordinator is responsible for recruiting CCAMPIS participants, developing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive services for CCAMPIS program participants, and monitoring participants’ progress toward the accomplishment of program objectives. This position is in-person on the San Marcos campus. This is a grant-funded position. Continuation of this position is contingent upon grant funding.

    Evening and weekend work may be required.

    Job Duties
  • Coordinate participant recruitment and program activities in compliance with U.S. Department of Education guidelines.
  • Review applications, determine eligibility, and conduct intake interviews.
  • Perform initial and ongoing academic and needs assessments for participants.
  • Design and implement co-curricular programs to support student growth.
  • Plan and manage budgets for trips, activities, and events.
  • Connect participants to campus and community resources; maintain regular engagement.
  • Assist with data collection, evaluations, progress reporting, and maintenance of participant files for grant compliance.
  • Develop outreach networks, manage communications, and support annual performance reporting.
  • Maintain program visibility through website, social media, and external communications.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
