Job Description

* Adequately prepares for classroom instruction

* Keeps students motivated and interested in the program and ensures students set realistic attainable goals

* Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom

* Accounts for students when they are under your responsibility

* Maintains accurate student records and files

* Adheres to all DOL, Company, Center and department guidelines

* Adheres to the guidelines determined by outside agencies

* Develops corrective action plans for students with deficiencies

* Monitors statistical date related to GED test and scores

* Develops instructional plans using TABE diagnostic for those students who do not meet the requirement

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

* Possession of, or eligibility for, temporary teaching certification in the State in which the center is located preferred
