Nontenure Faculty Pool

The Department of Management in the McCoy College of Business seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach Management courses. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental need.
Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department. This posting is for the fall 2026, spring 2027, and summer 2027 semesters.
Required Qualifications
- Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
