Nontenure Faculty Pool - Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education, and School Psychology

Position DescriptionThe Department seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester, based on student demand each semester. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need.
Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on departmental needs.
This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters. A need may arise; applicants will be considered for the departmental search committee if required. Positions are subject to availability of funds.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field
- Previous teaching experience
