Overview
Nontenure Line Faculty Pool – Department of Information Systems & Analytics at Texas State University. This pool is for temporary, non-tenure-track teaching appointments across multiple campuses (San Marcos, Round Rock, Dallas, Houston) and online. Appointments are made based on student demand and departmental need and are contingent on satisfactory annual performance evaluations and continued funding.
Posting covers Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Fall 2027 semesters. This posting does not guarantee a current need; candidates may be considered if a need arises.
ResponsibilitiesTeach one to four courses per semester as needed. Appointments are semester-by-semester and may be at the San Marcos, Round Rock, Dallas, Houston campuses, or online depending on departmental needs.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field (specific requirements vary by position).
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
