The School of Theatre, Dance & Film seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non‑tenured faculty to teach theatre, dance, and film courses. New hires will join a nationally recognized department with a dynamic faculty dedicated to a collaborative and innovative approach to teaching undergraduate and graduate students. Temporary/non‑tenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester.
Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental need. This posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
- MFA, professional experience, and/or prior teaching experience
