Nontenure Line Faculty Pool

The Department of Information Systems & Analytics seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach in Information Systems & Analytics. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental need.
Successful candidates may teach at San Marcos, TX TXST campus, Round Rock, TX TXST campus, Dallas College, Houston
- San Jacinto College Campus, and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department.
This posting is for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 semesters. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.
- Previous teaching experience.
