Branch Operations Intern

Overview & Responsibilities

Are you a current Junior or Senior in college seeking an internship with a Finance or Business focus? Republic Finance is looking for Interns for our Branch Operations program. As a Branch Ops Intern you will learn daily functions and operations of a branch, gain exposure to the overall business, and work on continuous improvement projects with various departments.

• Become licensed and complete an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in loan origination, processing, closing, and funding – including allocating files for document preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand responsibilities at higher levels and career progression opportunities.
• Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division.
• Participate in one or more Branch Operations process improvement projects.
• Explore corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valued (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.) and receive an overview of benefits during the program.

• Current Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history and pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Please note that this job is 100% onsite.

We pay Branch Operations Interns $15.00 per hour with a goal of offering full‑time employment upon successful completion of the program.
