Are you a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) looking to make a positive impact on people’s lives? If so, we’d love to hear from you. EMC Behavioral Health in San Marcos, TX is seeking a highly skilled LPC/LCSW or LPCA to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional mental health services to diverse individuals and families, contributing significantly to the well-being of our community.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions with individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Provide crisis intervention and support
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care
- Maintain accurate and timely client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards
- Remain current on research, best practices, and ethical guidelines in social work
- Actively participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards as defined by relevant licensing boards and professional associations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field from an accredited program
- Active Texas LPC or LCSW licensure
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as an LPC or LCSW, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Ability to provide Telehealth as well as in-person services up to 3 days a week at our San Marcos office location
- Telehealth appointments require services in all operating cities (Houston, San Antonio, San Marcos and Austin)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with specific populations (e.g., children, adolescents, veterans, elderly)
- Specialized certifications (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Compensation & Benefits:
- $40-55 per billable hour, DOE
- Hybrid work schedule
