Diamond Rehab is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing facility,
Cypress Healthcare and Rehab

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations assessing physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and adaptive techniques to improve daily living skills
  • Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies to promote independence
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
  • Successful completion of the NBCOT examination
  • Current or eligible for Louisiana state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • New graduates are welcome to apply (must graduate within six months of hire)

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Physical stamina to assist and support patients during therapy sessions
