This is a full-time, on‑site Medical Assistant role based in San Marcos, TX. The Medical Assistant will support medical staff by performing a combination of clinical and administrative duties, including assisting with patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring smooth operation of the medical office. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking patient vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, managing medical records, and applying medical terminology in daily tasks to deliver efficient, quality service for patients.

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care techniques
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and applications in clinical settings
• Experience in managing Medical Office operations and workflows
• Ability to maintain and update Medical Records accurately
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification or formal training in Medical Assisting (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus
