SHIFT: 12hr, NIGHTS 7P-7A
Must have several years of ICU experience, well versed in clinical judgment, caring practices, collaboration, diversity responsiveness, systems thinking, clinical inquiry and advocacy. EPIC use, pyxis use, Excel for scheduling
Type of patients on the unit: DKA, s/p STEMIs, Stroke (s/p TNK), Intubated/vented, ARDS, MODS, CHF exacerbation, COPD exacerbation, GI bleeds, Renal failure (CRRT/ SLED), Liver failure, IABP, Impellas
Job Requirements:Education/Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
- BLS required (AHA only)
- NIHSS required
- RN License in state of TX or compact
