Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a manufacturing organization in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Director of IT/OT Systems to lead enterprise IT, plant‑floor OT, and digital platforms. This role owns strategy, architecture, and execution across SAP S/4
HANA, OT systems, cybersecurity, data, and Dev Ops, partnering closely with executive leadership and operations to enable scalable, secure, and efficient systems.
- Lead IT/OT and digital systems strategy aligned with business growth
- Serve as executive owner for SAP S/4
HANA and integrations with MES, QMS, PLM, and OT systems - Oversee plant‑floor systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs) and industrial networks
- Drive IT/OT cybersecurity, compliance, and governance (NIST, ISO, IEC frameworks)
- Manage data architecture, analytics, and Dev Ops practices (CI/CD, automation)
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and service delivery/helpdesk
- Lead enterprise technology programs including ERP, MES, cybersecurity, and automation initiatives
- Manage budgets, vendors, and systems integrators
- Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 12‑15+ years of IT leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Deep SAP S/4
HANA experience with industrial systems integration - Experience building and leading small, high‑impact teams
- Strong knowledge of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES)
- Proven leadership in IT/OT cybersecurity and compliance
- Comfortable working on‑site with frequent engagement on the shop floor
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
