About this roleThe Block Parts Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and preparing blocks for use in production. This entry-level position plays an important role in maintaining cleanliness and quality standards, ensuring that all blocks are properly processed and ready for the next stage of the production workflow.

- Operating sanding belt equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Accurately weighing and measuring blocks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Performing routine weekly preventive maintenance on assigned machinery.
- Supporting production operations by performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Has a high school diploma or GED.
- Possesses the ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Can demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Is able to work in a warehouse or industrial manufacturing setting.
- Is comfortable with exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and industrial cleaning chemicals.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in environments with temperature fluctuations, noise, and potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
- Can wear Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, or respirators.
- Perform frequent physical activity, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing.
- Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
