Machine Operator

Job Description

Luxor Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator paying up to $20 per hour with 2nd shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more! If you have any manufacturing background, we are willing to train.

• Assist with operating and monitoring extrusion line equipment safely and efficiently
• Learn and maintain a basic understanding of extrusion processes and related machinery
• Use process control systems and follow product specifications with supervisor guidance
• Use measurement tools and gauges to help ensure product quality and specifications
• Support changeovers, startups, and shutdowns following established procedures
• Prepare materials, tooling, and setups for upcoming production jobs
• Monitor product quality, identify defects, and follow quality assurance procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors
• Follow all company procedures, work instructions, and production guidelines
• Assist team members and participate in training and development activities

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience operating plastics extrusion machinery is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn extrusion processes and manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with plastics blow molding, injection molding, machining, or fabrication is helpful
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
