Mechanical Assembler III

Training: 7am–3:30pm for up to 90days.

Working Hours (after completion of training): 2nd shift, 3pm–11:30am, Monday–Friday.

Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour on 2nd shift.

• Perform quality work checks, identify product defects and record identified defects.
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Precision Assembly: utilize hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, grinders, orbital sanders, and pull motors for daily assembly tasks.
• Measurement & Inspection: employ measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers, to ensure products meet specifications.
• Blueprints & Instructions: adhere to and understand blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.
• Equipment Adjustment: adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery.
• Testing & Recording: conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results.
• Compliance & Safety: adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products.
• Quality & Safety Standards: perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 25lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10hours per day.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4years of relevant manufacturing/assembly experience.
• 4+years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams or engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• 4+years of experience with general hand and/or power tools.
• Preferred: 2years minimum of relevant machine operation experience.
• Preferred:
  Maintenance or automated welding experience.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with resistance welding.
