How You Make a Difference

The LPN Travel Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within correctional healthcare settings. Under RN supervision, the LPN assists with treatment plans, administers medications, supports diagnostic procedures, maintains clinical documentation, adheres to safety protocols, and participates in emergency response efforts. This position requires 100% travel to support multiple healthcare facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation.
  • Administer medications and support diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Maintain safety protocols and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and ancillary departments.
  • Travel full‑time to meet staffing needs across multiple sites.
Qualifications & Requirements EDUCATION
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE
  • One (1) or more years of clinic experience required.
  • Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) within the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
