About This Role

Noveon Magnetics is currently searching for an experienced and highly analytical QC/QA Technician to join our production department.

A QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet established quality standards, identifying defects, and reporting any issues to maintain the company's quality control and compliance with industry regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Performing visual and physical checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or non-conformances.
  • Utilizing testing equipment to measure key product parameters such as dimensions, weight, chemical composition, and functionality, ensuring they fall within specified tolerances.
  • Recording inspection results, analyzing data trends using statistical process control (SPC) methods, and identifying potential quality issues.
  • Regularly calibrating measuring instruments to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintaining detailed records of inspection findings, test results, and non-conformance reports, and communicating issues to relevant personnel.
  • Following established quality standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in quality checks.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Displays technical proficiency with relevant testing equipment and methodologies.
  • Possesses analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Shows excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Has knowledge of quality management systems like ISO standards.
  • Understands basic statistical process control (SPC).
  • Exhibits good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments.
Physical Requirements
  • Must pass a drug screening, medical physical, and, if applicable, visual testing.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can wear PPE.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Can perform repetitive movements including, but not limited to, sitting, squatting, and walking up and down stairs.
