What You Will Do- Provide quality engineering support.
- Conduct technical investigations and implement immediate risk containment measures and systemic mistake‑proof solutions to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Generate, manage, and present/report Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for the site including but not limited to:
Scrap Rework Repair, Pareto by Defects, Repeat/Defects Per Unit, First Pass Yield, all Escapes, Audit Findings, etc. - Recommend various Inspection Methodologies for proper inspection of hardware, being well versed in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Draft technical documents (e.g.: Inspection Plans, local Work Instructions, Controlled procedures, Standard Illustrated Plannings, etc.).
- Identify and manage risk in product development primarily utilizing and driving PPAP core elements (e.g.:
Process Flow Diagrams, Measurement System Analysis, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Process Control Plan, etc.). - Interfaces with audits (e.g. internal, external, customer, regulatory, etc.) as a point of contact.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products.
- Working knowledge of Net Inspect
- Previous experience in Material Review Board (MRB) with dispositioning of nonconforming
- Working knowledge of SAP, AS9100
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
