Research Associate

The Research Associate position assists the research team through facilitating all aspects of data collection efforts and creating/maintaining datasets for analysis and distribution by the research team ks include recruiting participants, operating virtual reality and vision tracking technology, collecting data via surveys, and transforming collected information into datasets.

Job duties include recruiting and managing participants for scheduled studies, operating virtual reality training tools and vision tracking technology utilized during data collection efforts, creating datasets from responses collected during data collection, maintaining existing datasets, occasional travel to conduct data collection, and other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree (conferred by August 2026), demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated computer software skills including experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, and comfort around law enforcement training tools such as simulated handguns and rifles.

Preferred qualifications include experience with virtual reality hardware and software applications, experience assisting researchers with data collection, database management experience, experience with AI tools, and a master's degree in any field.
