Position: (USA) Personal Shopper Lead - Sam's

Position Summary

Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques. Resolve member complaints and issues in accordance with company guidelines, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.

Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Sam’s Club eCommerce plan by overseeing operations of eCommerce programs (e.g., Club Pick Up, Ship From Club, etc.), auditing online customer feedback, resolving complaints, escalating unresolved issues, and identifying trends.
  • Supervise associates supporting the eCommerce programs by training, providing resources, assigning duties, and ensuring coverage at the eCommerce pickup location.
  • Execute the Sam’s Club Pickup plan and processes, update club operations with key performance indicators, audit customer orders for accuracy, ensure equipment readiness, and evaluate performance.
  • Lead projects to improve CPU efficiencies, leveraging KPIs and leadership insight to resolve operational gaps, model efficient picking and loading, and implement solutions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding purchase decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation, handle claims and returns, zone areas, stock, arrange displays, and ensure compliance with pricing and shrink management.
  • Oversee picking and staging of club pick up orders throughout the day following company policy.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes, collaborate with managers and partners, analyze data, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Promote compliance with policies, demonstrate integrity, and assist management in correcting ethical and compliance issues.
  • Lead and participate in teams, coordinate assignments, provide feedback, support timelines and quality, and model adaptation to change.
  • Respect diversity, build strong relationships, communicate positively, mentor others, and support a culture of belonging.

Compensation

Hourly wage range: $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
