Sam's Club #4958 – 1350 Leah Ave, San Marcos, TX | Full Time | $21.00 – $29.00/hr
Position SummaryAssists management with supervising associates in the assigned area, ensuring compliance with company policies and a high level of customer service.
What You’ll Do- Assign duties and communicate goals, provide direction and guidance to associates.
- Train associates on processes, procedures, and member service techniques.
- Resolve member complaints and issues in accordance with company guidelines.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching and evaluating associates.
- Maintain safety of the facility through safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Support the Sam’s Club e‑commerce plan, overseeing operations of programs such as Club Pick‑Up, Ship‑From‑Store, etc., audit online customer feedback, and resolve customer complaints.
- Manage the e‑commerce pickup location, including training, resource allocation, and coverage.
- Execute the Sam’s Club Pickup plan and key performance indicators, audit customer orders, and ensure equipment readiness.
- Assist with projects to improve CPU efficiencies, resolve operational gaps, and communicate program status to stakeholders.
- Provide member service using self‑service technology, assist with purchasing decisions, resolve member issues, and promote company products and services.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation, handle claims and returns, organize displays, and manage shrink and damaged goods.
- Oversee picking and staging of club pickup orders throughout the day.
- Develop and implement processes and practices that meet business needs through collaboration with managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Promote compliance with policies and the Open Door Policy, and assist management with ethical and compliance issues.
- Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and demonstrate adaptability to change.
- Model and support a culture of belonging, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in retail management or store leadership roles.
- Knowledge of e‑commerce operations.
