Position Summary

Front End Coach – Store 404 San Marcos, TX. Salary: $65,000 – $100,000/yr. Regular/Permanent position.

• Lead and develop teams by teaching training, actively listening, and providing feedback.
• Communicate and collaborate with all associates on store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
• Introduce and lead company change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide teams to implement business solutions.
• Model exceptional customer service standards and manage customer service initiatives and outreach programs.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring merchandise presentation and inventory flow.
• Provide supervision, hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition for hourly associates.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate job‑related activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and values, and support the Open Door Policy.
• Promote a culture of belonging, respect differences, and foster high‑performing teams.
• Act with integrity, model Walmart values, and support the company's regenerative goals.
• Serve customers and members by prioritizing the customer first, using data insights, and balancing short and long‑term priorities.

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Certification: firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training (for firearms stores); state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility (for ammunition stores).
• Complete all required job trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U or similar program.
• General work experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
