Gift Associate

Overview

Pay: $20.00 per hour.

Buc‑ee's will open in San Marcos, TX in August 2026.

• Receive, stock, and merchandise Buc‑ee’s unique gift items.
• Create visual merchandising displays to draw guests into the gift department.
• Price, merchandise, and sell gift items efficiently and professionally.
• Communicate professionally and build positive working relationships with store management and team members.
• Execute the company’s visual presentation standards through product pricing and merchandising.
• Use point‑of‑sale and transaction devices for receiving and checking in goods.
• Identify and resolve immediate customer and store needs with moderate supervision.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Ability to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
