Job Overview:
Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance tasks on Texas First Rentals rental equipment in field/job locations. The incumbent will demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values, collaborate with key resources, and participate in ongoing self‑development.

Essential Functions
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools and processes to ensure alignment with the company’s Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance service work on heavy equipment located in the field to respond to customer needs.
  • Greases and lubricates vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, or steering knuckles, using grease guns or spray lubricants.
  • Maintains appearance and operation of lubrication truck to ensure productivity and positive representation to Texas First Rentals/HOLT customers.
  • Completes all necessary forms and documentation associated with Customer Service Agreements (CSA) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Works safely at all times, adheres to all applicable safety policies, and complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, aerial, and lifting equipment.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of operating characteristics and limitations of the equipment being operated.
  • Knowledge of safe work procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and basic knowledge of machine electronic systems.
  • Exceptional skills in customer service.
  • Operation and control skills of equipment or systems.
  • Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals and lubrication charts.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One or more years of work‑related skill, knowledge, or experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None.
Travel
  • Up to 20% travel.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must have an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
  • MUST be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
  • Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires constant movement and use of limbs; good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
  • Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbing up and down ladders.
  • Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment.
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work.
Work Environment
  • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
  • Regularly works outdoors around moving mechanical parts; noise level may be loud at times.
  • May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside, including inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high‑pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment.
  • Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places.
