HVAC Start‑Up Technician Woods Comfort Systems
Woods Comfort Systems is hiring an HVAC Start‑Up Technician to join our growing team! If you're looking for a company that supports your career growth, values a positive team culture, and invests in helping you become the best technician you can be, we want to talk to you.
Sign-On Bonus:Up to $5,000 -
(Available for currently employed Start‑Up Technicians)
Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (1‑hour lunch) Some weekends & on‑call rotation
Compensation:$40,000-$70,000 per year
What You'll Do- Perform start-up, testing, and warranty work on residential HVAC systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a high‑quality experience
- Complete work according to company standards and safety guidelines
- PTO - Accrual begins on day 1 (up to 6 days per year)

- EPA Certification & TDLR (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC Technical Schooling (preferred, not required)
- Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
- Ability to read wiring diagrams & blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills across various equipment types
- Experience making repair/replace recommendations
- Ability to obtain low‑voltage license within 2 years
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to obtain NATE certification within 1 year
- Willingness to take initiative and accept leadership responsibilities
- Safe operation of scissor and genie lifts
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
- Understanding of air balancing principles and techniques
