A&P Mechanic

The role is responsible for performing C-checks on turboprop aircraft. Duties/Responsibilities include C-checks on Dash 8-200, completing the launch and recovery of the aircraft for scheduled and unscheduled flights, performing general aircraft maintenance on supported aircraft (including aircraft washes and corrosion control), complying with maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead, accurately documenting all maintenance tasks performed on the supported aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and local procedures, completing the necessary paperwork for part turn-in, assisting other mechanics with general aircraft maintenance tasks as required, demonstrating good housekeeping procedures to ensure a clean work area, complying with requirements for control of tools and parts, responsible for providing on-the-job training to other mechanics as needed, attending training classes and actively pursuing on-the-job training on the aircraft, may be required to act as a lead for short periods in the absence of those personnel, may be required to obtain and hold a RII certification, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

Education and Experience:

A&P Licensed, High school diploma or equivalent, experience in maintaining aircraft under FAA Part 145/135 program, Embraer EMB-120, Dash 8-200, King Air 300 and Twin Otter experience, phase maintenance and heavy maintenance experience in part
145/MRO, electrical avionics troubleshooting, structural repairs.

Physical Requirements:

Perform as an aircraft maintenance technician, prolonged periods of standing while working on an aircraft, must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Pay/

Hourly based on experience, Day Shift and Night Shift Needed, 6+ month contract/potential hire OT as needed. Other:
Phone/teams/ or in person interview with DOM after 1pm preferred. Tools required shadowed and etched.
