Mental Health Associate Fulltime

Responsibilities

Job is for 40 hours per week, with shifts available at 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. Weekend shift availability is required.

Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for children ages 6‑17 in a 212‑bed psychiatric residential treatment facility located in San Marcos, Texas.

Implement the daily program schedule, conduct clinical and administrative documentation, and communicate with co‑workers, supervisors, and other team members regarding patient care and safety concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Psychiatric experience preferred (2 years)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screening
