Redbird Trucking is a Texas-based pneumatic bulk carrier hauling fly ash and cement to job sites across the state. We run over 125 trucks today and we're rapidly growing. Our drivers are the backbone of this company, and we're investing in the people and programs that keep them safe and successful.

We're looking for a Field Safety Representative — someone who has driven a commercial semi, understands the work, and wants to step out of the seat and into a leadership role helping other drivers succeed.

This is not an office job. You'll spend your days in a company pickup driving to job sites, riding along with drivers, coaching on dash cam events, and being a trusted resource our drivers want to talk to. If you're a driver who's been thinking about what's next — this is that next step.

• Visit job sites and delivery locations across Texas to support drivers in the field
• Build real relationships with our drivers — be the safety person they want to call
• Monitor and coach dash cam safety alerts daily (following distance, distracted driving, harsh events, etc.)
• Conduct ride‑alongs with current drivers and road tests with new hires
• Observe unloading procedures and identify hazards at customer sites
• Perform field inspections on trucks and trailers to catch maintenance issues early
• Reinforce pre‑trip and post‑trip inspection habits with drivers
• Travel periodically to our DFW terminal (overnight stays, per diem provided)
• Escalate serious safety concerns to the Terminal Fleet Manager, Director of Safety, or General Manager

• Active Class A CDL (required)
• Experience driving commercial trucks — you've been out there and you get it
• Strong communicator who can build trust with drivers
• Self‑starter who can manage your own day in the field without someone watching over your shoulder
• Solid observation and coaching instincts
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable with technology (dash cam systems, basic computer use, email)

• Pneumatic, bulk, or tanker experience
• Prior experience as a driver trainer or mentor
• Familiarity with Samsara and LYTX systems

Schedule:

Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility based on driver schedules and operational needs. Some early mornings and overnight DFW trips required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
