TxDOT's Austin District is looking for one Roadway Maintenance Tech (Trans Maintenance Tech) I, II, or III based in San Marcos, TX. This position will perform routine work related to transportation activities such as construction inspection, routine and contract maintenance inspection, bridge inspection and record keeping, roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control, assisting the public during emergency situations, and training other employees.

CDL Recruitment Bonus!
You may qualify for a one-time recruitment bonus up to $5,000 if you have a Class “A” CDL License (preferably with no transmission restrictions) at time of hire. You must maintain 12-month of continuous employment with TxDOT and meet all other conditions.
