Research Administrator

Option 1 Staffing is seeking an extremely detailed Research Administrator with an expert knowledge of government regulations.

• Develop reports to create complex expenditure and fund analysis
• Create forecasting tools for donor review in funding proposals
• Monitor spending on projects and work with faculty on expenditure analysis.
• Work with Office of Sponsored Research to renegotiate contracts for scope changes and ongoing work.
• Ensure all invoicing has been sent to sponsor and that payments are applied correctly
• Identify inefficiency with processing and implement new process improvements

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong accounting skills and knowledge of accounting principles
• Expert knowledge of government regulations including (A-110, A-133, CAS, FAR etc)
• Proficient in Excel and demonstrated analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree and Five years relevant experience
• Top-Notch time management and organizational skills
