About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with month-end close activities. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly contribute to the team.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

+ Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

+ Analyze financial statements and general ledger accounts

+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies

+ Support audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting policies

+ Assist with process improvements and documentation of procedures

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting needs

+ Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

+

Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations

+ Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas

+

Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
